About Booth's Dancesport Ballroom
Booth's Dancesport Ballroom is Colorado's most respected name in ballroom dance instruction, having won top studio awards in 8 out of the last 10 years. The studio has a beautiful 2,500 sq ft. main ballroom, and two smaller ballrooms where our professional and certified instructors have taught over 3,000 Coloradoans to glide and groove.
With rigorous training and an expectation for excellence owners Richard and Jennifer Booth have cultivated an excellent team of instructors to teach the many students that have walked through their studio's doors. Instructors train with some of the world's finest dancers, and certify with the U.S.I.S.T.D. the world's oldest and most distinguished teaching society.
Youth Department Instructors
Booth's currently has eight instructors on staff. All of our instructors teach private lessons to all age groups. Some of our instructors teach social style dancing and others specialize in competitive ballroom dance. Depending on what goals and interests your child may have, we have an instructor to meet his or her needs.
Private and Group Instruction
At Booth's we offer two types of lessons: Private and Group Instruction. Private lessons can be taken as an individual or couple. These lessons allow students to learn at their own pace (and in many cases a noticeably accelerated pace), concentrate on dances of their choice, and work on their personal goals and skills (including technique, style, timing, lead/follow skills). As private lessons are one instructor with either one or two students they are priced accordingly. We do offer discounted youth rates from our normal adult rates.
Group lessons are offered weekly for both youth and teens. The classes will concentrate on 2 to 3 dances a semester (3 months) and allow students to dance with a variety of partners their own age. As we have 8 to 20 students in a group class, these classes are priced economically at $75 for 3 months of lessons.
